Challenge: The current servers are running very slowly, and they experience a big downtime for the core application, Printing using serial Line printers is very difficult and not reliable. The current servers cannot be upgraded new servers are needed and migration services for the core banking system.

PCNC solution: PCNC team has worked very hard to test the core banking system on a new server Platform (Integrity servers , based on Itanium processor ) and running HP-UX operating system. PCNC has provided the bank with test server and migrated the application together with the bank team for testing purposes. The tests were successful and the bank purchased new Data Center equipment based on Integrity servers and EVA storage system. All serial printers has been moved to Network printers and configuredwiththenewData Center equipment.

Result: The bank is very happy to use the new solution that PCNC and HP provided to the bank. No printing problems and the downtime is almost 0%.
